Latest POCO X2 May 2021 update brings major camera improvements

In 2020,  POCO officially launched POCO X2 in India, which is a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 4G that was launched in China. It comes pre-installed with MIUI 11 based on Android 10. In early August, the device received MIUI 12 with new features and optimizations.

Back in January 2021, the company released an Android 11 update for POCO X2. Now, this device is receiving a new firmware update with May 2021 security patch in India.

As per the changelog, the new update renames the GPS toggle as ‘Location’. However, there’s no additional feature or change mentioned in the changelog. But according to the user feedback, the update also brings some changes in the camera app as well as improves the performance.

Currently, the update is only for Mi Pilot testers and soon it’ll expand to all users. For more information, below you can check the updated software version, changelog, and download link of this update.
