OxygenOS 14 (Android 14) stable update rolling out for the OnePlus Open

OnePlus Open is the firm’s first foldable device which came pre-installed on Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1, however, the device is now receiving the offerings of the stable OxygenOS 14 update uprooted on Android 14 OS. Notably, the update is currently live in India and will expand to more regions soon.

Going toward the details, the owners of OnePlus Open will be able to determine the stable version of OxygenOS 14 through version CPH2551_14.0.0.400(EX01) in India. Simultaneously, the update has arrived with loads of improvements over the previous software build and a variety of new features.

Some of the key elements of the latest software include an upgraded Aquamorphic Design with a natural, gentle, and clearer color style for a more comfortable color experience and a carbon tracking AOD that visualizes the carbon emissions you avoid by walking instead of driving.

It also improves system animations by making them even smoother and adds a File Dock, where you can drag and drop to transfer content between apps and devices. Other than this, there are several more features and optimizations, that users will encounter after upgrading their device to the latest version.

Accordingly, this build will be firstly pushed directly to users who participated in the Close Beta and Open Beta versions, and then it’ll be gradually pushed to more users. Before installing the update please make sure the battery level of your foldable phone is above 30%, and maintain a minimum of 5GB of storage space.
