OxygenOS 13 user interface is worth appreciating, except for this visual bug

OxygenOS 13 user interface bug

OnePlus users often complain about OxygenOS 13. However, a few users genuinely appreciate the dynamic upgrade. Moreover, the revamped design and the visual overhaul that the company has provided for this update are worth praising. Everything is good with OxygenOS 13 user interface, except for this one visual bug.

Yes, a visual bug. The story outline begins when a user shared a screenshot of his device’s lock screen. The snap highlights the presence of the media mini-player on the lock screen. Besides, the player, the image shows a notification from the messenger app.

As per the user’s words, the visual bug hides in this screenshot. Consequently, the mini-player as well as the notification tab remains in an unusual grey shade. While the entire screen reflects light tones with an elegant gradient design. According to the user, this is the only bug in the OxygenOS 13 user interface.

To be specific, the tone of the mini-player and the notification tab doesn’t match the lock screen theme. Although, we cannot consider this scenario as a bug thing. But we can also not deny the fact that this unusual element often gives a strange and unimpressive feel to the eyes.

Here’s how the user has defined the strange visual bug through the screenshot medium:

OxygenOS 13 user interface bug

“As you can see the mini-player remains completely flat and gray compared to the new gradient design for the notifications shown below. It looks really jarring whenever I look at it and I can’t help but notice how ugly it looks.”

Adding more to his words, the user suggested that it could be much better if the player and the notification tabs had a matching design with the rest of the notifications. We can also say that a translucent background is a good choice in this case.

Perhaps, there is no such way to change this aspect. Following the thread, another user said that the player appears in a transparent shade while the notification bar doesn’t show any such thing. Now here the expectation is to see this bug fixed in OxygenOS 13.1.

As mentioned, we cannot term this issue as a bug, yet it would be better if the company takes a view at this matter. Do you also feel the same? Or, are you good with this shade stuff? We are waiting to know your thoughts in the comment section.
