Xiaomi started rolling out a new MIUI update for the Redmi 10C smartphones, which installs the latest September 2023 Android security patch. This new firmware aims to provide improved protection against harmful threats, viruses, and other safety-related assaults.
It also offers increased security for the system, reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss. Simultaneously, it’s an initial rollout and the update is currently available in Europe. Therefore, the firm will expand the reach of the patch to more market users in the coming days.
The consumers of Redmi 10C devices will be able to identify the September 2023 security update via the MIUI build version V14.0.4.0.TGEEUXM and need to download a 3.4GB package size.
To access the latest patch all you need to do is, visit the Settings app on your phone and tap on the About Phone option. Now, click the System Updates menu and press the MIUI version. Here, let the system fetch a new version, once done, hit the Download button and Install the patch.
