Xiaomi is expanding a new update for Redmi 9A users in Russia, which installs the latest Android patch released in February 2021 to enhance the user’s experience.

The new update comes with the MIUI 12 based version V12.0.8.0.QCDRUXM and updated package size of 1.7GB. Below you can check the download link and changelog of this update.

Back in 2020, Xiaomi launched its new budget smartphone, Redmi 9A with a 6.53-inch HD+ 20:9 Dot Drop screen, is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 with up to 3GB of RAM, runs Android 10 with MIUI 12 out of the box, features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.

Now, the company has started sending a new software update for Redmi 9A users in India. The update improves system security by installing the latest Android security patch released
in February 2021.

Aside from the security patch, there’s no features and optimization have been added to the smartphone. Previously, the smartphone received the same update in Europe which enhance device performance for a better user experience.

Other than this, Xiaomi started rolling out the stable MIUI 12.5, the latest version of its MIUI skin. The company also started rolling out the Android 11 update for some of its smartphones.
