Xiaomi is rolling out the April 2023 Android security update for the Redmi Note 12 5G smartphones. On the other hand, the Chinese tech giant has also begun the May 2023 firmware rollout for the other cousins of Redmi Note 12 5G including Redmi Note 12 4G NFC, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Pro+ 5G.
This hints that the company is prioritizing Redmi Note 12 lineup for the May 2023 security patch rollout. It means the Redmi Note 12 5G owners will also start grabbing the latest month’s patch soon. As of now the April 2023 update for Redmi Note 12 5G is rolling out in Europe and the Global market.

In addition, the users of the corresponding model will need to install a massive installation package that weighs around 4.0 Gigabytes.
