Samsung started the rollout of the May 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24 series in the US, and now the patch has reached Europe. However, the other market owners of the recent flagship phones will also acquire the patch soon.
As per the details, the May 2024 update for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra has arrived with One UI build version S928BXXS2AXD6, S928BXXS2AXD6, and S928BXXS2AXD6 respectively in Europe. Whereas, the offerings of the patch are collected in 450MB package.
Being a regular monthly patch, the update works on the core functioning of your phone and improves its security and stability grades. In addition, the patch also provides improved protection against threats, viruses, and other safety-related assaults, for secured interpretation.
Moving on, the security maintenance release mentions fixes for 45 Vulnerability Exposures including 3 Critical, 26 High, and 1 Moderate level of CVE from Google. While, it mends 12 SVE items related to multitasking framework, improper authentication in a secure folder, and more from Samsung.
