Samsung releasing February 2022 security update for Galaxy Note 10

In the month of March Samsung is releasing its February 2022 update for its remaining devices. Now it’s the turn for Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ smartphones in Australia. However, it will reach other countries in the coming days or weeks.

This latest firmware update will improve device security and stability and further enhance the overall device performance. You can identify the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ February 2022 update via the following One UI build versions:

  • Galaxy Note 10 – N970FXXS7GVB8
  • Galaxy Note 10 Plus – N975FXXS7GVB8

February 2022 update further protects your phone from bugs and viruses and provides you with seamless performance with added new configurations. At the same time, it fixes multiple CVEs and SVEs from Google and Samsung including 2 critical, 29 high, and 15 moderate levels of issues and exploits.

Users can download this software update by opening their device Settings. From here tap on System updates and then click on Download and install. Wait for the phone to check for available updates, finally, tap on Download now option and it is done.

Note: make sure that you backup your important data, so you won’t lose any important files. Although the upgrade procedure won’t replace or remove any of the corresponding data from your smartphone, it’s recommended to do so for extra safety measures.
