Google Chrome for desktops is getting a new ‘Copy Video Frame’ feature. As the term suggests, the capability will help users in saving what is currently being shown in the video clip. One can further paste it in the supported web text fields inside Chrome.
Eventually, the aim of adding the Copy Video Frame option in Google Chrome is to enhance the user experience while watching videos in the browser. So far, such a feature remained absent in Apple Mac devices despite several advanced functionalities.
Google has introduced the new capability as an alternative to the ‘lower quality image’ or manual screenshot on the desktop. To access this tweak on YouTube, right-click twice on the video. As the native menu shows up, right-click again for the option.
At present, this feature is rolling out for all desktop versions including Mac, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS.
