A new feature for Android is currently being distributed to Google Pixel smartphones that lets you make emergency calls even faster. Yes, we are talking about the new fast ‘Emergency Dial feature’. The company has expanded this Pixel 6-exclusive feature to solve the hassle of remembering multiple emergency numbers.

The Android maker is always there to standardize the safety and security-related concern of its users. Accordingly, Google has started releasing the fast ‘Emergency dial Feature’. This feature is totally different from the traditional emergency dial call screen.

Previous, Emergency Dialer we used to have to dial emergency numbers, but this new feature will let you create a list of available emergency numbers for different situations in different countries.

Yet, this feature will be visible when you swipe up the lock screen and tap on ‘Emergency Call’. The smartphone will then list all the emergency numbers they know for your region/country, with a label for each.

The best part is that the feature is not linked to a particular location and will change according to the location. It is useful for those who travel a lot, as emergency numbers sometimes vary from place to place.

Recently, this fast Emergency feature will only be released for Pixel phone users, but this will expand gradually to more devices soon.
