Google Pixel Recorder, the popular voice recording app for Pixel devices, has recently received a new update that introduces a highly anticipated feature – the Favorite Tab. This new addition aims to enhance the user experience by providing a convenient way to access and manage their favorite recordings.
The toolbar at the top of a recording now features a star next to Share, Edit, Search, and the overflow menu. This will result in a Favorites section, which notes how many have been saved, appearing at the top of the app just underneath “Search your recordings.
To be mentioned, this new Favorite Tab is rolling out with version 4.2.20230908.x of the Google Pixel Recorder app as part of a server-side update.

With the Favorite Tab, users can now mark specific recordings as favorites, making it easier to locate and listen to them later on. This feature is particularly useful for those who frequently refer back to certain recordings, such as important interviews, business meetings, or personal memos.
