X Pro fka TweetDeck now requires a Blue subscription

X Pro (formerly known as TweetDeck) now requires a Blue subscription to access its services. Eventually, users have a pay a certain amount to enjoy amazing features and benefits in their application. As always, this is another nasty change, the firm is adding to the media platform.

So far, the company announced this change on July 03 on the X (Twitter) surface via the Support page. According to the details, users must be verified to access the TweetDeck capability. Although at that time, things only came to the knowledge but were not in action.

In the current scenario, these changes are live. As of now, when you visit the tweetdeck.twitter.com as a non-paying user, it redirects you to a signup window. On the flip side, it reads the following benefits for the X Pro Blue subscription service:

  • Prioritized rankings in conversations and search
  • See approximately twice as many posts between ads in your For You and Following timelines.
  • Add bold and italic text in your posts
  • Post longer videos and 1080p video uploads
  • All the existing Blue features, including Edit Tweet, Bookmark Folders, and early access to new features
  • Longer posts: Create posts, replies, and Quotes up to 25,000 characters long.
  • Edit post: Edit a post up to 5 times within 30 minutes.
  • NFT Profile Pictures: Show your personal flair and set your profile picture to an NFT you own.

The cost of this subscription in the US is $8 per month or $84 annually.
