Google is one of the most valuable companies around the globe while Amazon comes after Google. As per the information coming from Yahoo! finance, Google employees are revealing the harsh working conditions in their former workplace Amazon.
Amazon is one of the world’s largest online retailers and a prominent cloud service provider. Regardless, it is criticized by its old employees.
An email thread pops up on one of the websites telling about the life of the employees in Amazon.
The employees share the experience of their former company while working for Google. They used the word “frugal” for Amazon as it does not spend much on its staff.
Alongside this, the employees also point out the difference between the cultures of both the companies Google and Amazon.
They accuse Amazon of making the workplace feel hostile. As per the employees, they were deprived of using the cultural benefits. They started an internal email thread about Amazon while working for Google.
In one email, a former Amazon employee complains that his team got only one computer. While the other says that they were not provided with the Macbooks.
On the other side, Google believes that happy employees are more productive and creative. Therefore, it constantly makes efforts to create a healthy environment for its employees where they are free to express themselves. It has a better culture and leaders.
