Nokia 8.3 5G to feature 120Hz display, 108MP penta camera, and Snapdragon 775

Last month, Nokia officially launched the Nokia 5.4 with pre-installed Android 10 OS and a quite smaller 4000mAh battery with 10W charging. Now, the company is currently developing a successor of the Nokia 8.3 5G which was announced in 2020 and the first smartphone to support 5G.

According to the latest information, HMD Global plans to adopt a new naming convention for its upcoming smartphones. Therefore, it seems that the successor to Nokia 8.3 5G will not be called Nokia 8.4 5G. The device may start in the form of the Nokia G10.

Specifications of Nokia 8.35 successor (Expected)

The Nokia 8.3 5G successor will come with a new chipset which will be an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 765/765G. Recent reports indicate that the model number of the chipset is SM7350 and may enter the market in the form of Snapdragon 775/775G.

Furthermore, the smartphone is expected to sport a 6.5-inch PureDisplay V4 with Quad HD + resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may be equipped with a massive 5,000mAh battery.

According to the report, the next-generation of Nokia 8.3 5G will feature a ZEISS branded 108-megapixel Penta-lens camera setup. The camera module may include an ultra-wide-angle lens, a telephoto snapshot, a macro camera, and a depth assistant. It is expected that OZO Audio will also be supported.

On the other hand, the company is also expected to launch another budget phone, Nokia 4.3 soon. While the official confirmation is yet to come.
