Flashing all the previous leaks and rumors, Realme has finally unveiled its new phones under the Realme 8 series. The lineup comes with two handsets – Realme 8 and 8 Pro. These new phones come with a bunch of new features and for the first time, the company has included an AMOLED display on both Pro and non-Pro models.
The Realme 8 Pro comes with a 108MP camera while the non-Pro version has a 64MP shooter as a main lens on the rear. Now, let’s take a deep dive into the specs, price, and availability of these newly launched handsets.
Realme 8 and 8 Pro Specifications
Display and Processor
Both the Realme 8 and 8 Pro come with the same display features which include a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display from Samsung which supports FHD+ resolution along with a 180 Hz touch sampling rate. It is quite disappointing to note that the Realme 8 and 8 Pro phones come with 4G chipsets. The Snapdragon 720G in the Realme 8 Pro and a MediaTek Helio G95 in the base variant.
Camera
Realme 8 comes with a 64MP triple rear-camera setup with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP sensor for macro shots. While the smartphone has a 16MP shooter for selfies.
On the other hand, the Pro version equips a quad rear camera setup with a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor that is capable of 9-in-1 binning. The other sensors are an 8MP ultrawide and a pair of 2MP cameras.
Software
Both the smartphones come with the latest Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0. This latest version is currently rolling out for several Realme phones in the form of early access program and Open Beta.
Other Features

The other feature of the Realme 8 Pro includes a 4500mAh battery with 50W fast Super Dart charging and an in-display fingerprint scanner. While connectivity, it comes with a dual 4G support, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Type-C USB port.
