OnePlus 9 will continue to provide two years warranty even after rooting

OnePlus has recently launched the new flagship phones in the OnePlus 9 lineup, these new smartphones come with a variety of new features along with Hasselblad camera technology for enhanced photography. These devices also have some extraordinary specs such as 50W fast wireless charging.

The company has launched this lineup with pre-installed Android 11-based ColorOS 11.2 in China while the global versions run on the usual OxygenOS 11. The ColorOS 11.2 version for the OnePlus 9 phones comes with some optimizations as per the smartphones.

Recently, the Chinese phone maker has announced that it will provide a warranty of up to two years with the OnePlus 9, rather than 1 year on the other smartphones in China. Now, according to the latest news, the company has also made it clear that these handsets will not lose their warranty after rooting them.

OnePlus is known for the custom ROM and thanks to the promise of providing the proper source kernel code on time. The phone maker also provides its handsets to developers for the thrid party software developement.
