Realme 8 Pro could be coming soon in India with 108MP camera

Last week, Realme launched the Narzo 30 smartphone in India, which includes the Narzo 30A and Narzo 30 Pro models. With its release, the Narzo 30 Pro became the most affordable 5G phone in the country, priced at 16,999 INR.

In the previous report,  Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth posted a message on Twitter, showing the pre-heating poster of Realme 8, which will be equipped with a 108-megapixel main camera.

Now according to the recently released news of Realme Camera Innovation Event, 2021 shows that  Realme 8 Pro will debut with the 108MP Samsung HM2 1/1.52″ main sensor. The sensor will support 9-in-1 pixel binning and ISOCELL Plus. The camera can output excellent images that have balanced overall exposure, vivid colors, and clear details in both bright and dark environments.

The company also revealed that Realme 8 Pro’s camera will be equipped with an in-sensor zoom function activated in 3x mode. This function can only use the 12MP sensor that is partially mapped with the zoom to generate an image. Due to the smaller size of 12MP photos, the camera will also bring a faster imaging process.

It is also said that the Realme 8 Pro camera will be the world’s first product to play starry sky time-lapse video and tilt-shift time-lapse video on its smartphone. It will take 480 seconds or 4 minutes to take 30 photos and then generate a starry photo or 30 fps time-lapse video. This means that the time-lapse mode can display the ever-changing universe at 480 times the speed.

The Realme 8 Series will be able to capture tilt-shift photos as well as 10x faster tilt-shift time-lapse video with the help of Realme’s new tilt-shift photography algorithm. The company also hints that the 8 series will come with three iconic filters- Neon Portrait, Dynamic Bokeh Portrait, and AI Color Portrait.

Till now the company has not announced a release date, but it is expected that the Realme 8 series may arrive in India later this month or early next month.
