After launching the Redmi Note 12 series globally, Xiaomi is now planning to add one more member to its family, in the form of Redmi Note 12S. The device has earlier cleared some certifications like FCC and now this yet-to-be-launched device has appeared on the SIRIM database.

According to the input of Mukul Sharma, the Redmi Note 12S smartphone has received the SIRIM certification with model number 2303CRA44A. However, rather than the model number the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia has not shared any other information about the upcoming gadget.

To be mentioned, the device is expected to be launched globally in the coming weeks. While the Chinese tech giant has not yet shared any details about the launch date or availability officially. Moving forward, let’s take a look at the rumored Note 12S specifications.

Redmi Note 12S Rumored Specifications

The gadget is going to be the modified version of the Redmi Note 11S smartphone and could come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by the Helio G96 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Note 12S is rumored to sport a quad-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it may house a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Consequently, the device could run on the latest Android 13-powered MIUI 14 operating system, which will offer various components, to make your user experience prominent. Additionally, the device is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.

Beyond this, everything remains a mystery. Though, we can hope that more details about this Redmi Note 12S may appear in the coming days.
