Aside from the wide range of smartphones and tablets, Samsung is also known for its smartwatches which come with the traditional round dial along with a bunch of fitness-related functionalities. Launched back in August 2020, the Galaxy Watch 3 is the latest smartwatch from the company.
According to the recent report, Samsung has not been as good in the wearables market in the fourth quarter of last year. And now the company is planning to add some new smartwatches to the list that may change these stats in the coming quarters.
As per the latest news, the South Korean tech giant is reportedly working on the next-gen Galaxy watches that might be the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch Active 4. These upcoming watches may arrive with more added functionalities over the older Galaxy Watch Active 3 and Watch Active 2.
It is also said that this time Samsung could not add the rotating bezels to the Galaxy Watch Active 4 while the Watch Active 4 will have this feature. Both of these models will be available in different colors as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy X Flip 2.
These upcoming smartwatches are said to come with Google’s WearOS despite the company’s own Tizen OS. At the moment, the other features of the Galaxy Watch Active 4 series are not known and we’ll keep you updated on this.
