Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 with Snapdragon 870 chip spotted on Geekbench

Xiaomi will hold an autumn new product launch conference on August 10 to officially release a range of new products such as the Mi MIX 4, Mi Pad 5, and second-gen OLED TV.

A day before the press conference, many information came out. Now, the latest Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 has appeared on the benchmark test platform Geekbench, which shows that the device will be equipped with Snapdragon 870 SoC.

In terms of running points, the model number of the Mi Pad 5 is the M2105K81AC, which is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chip, complemented by Adreno 650 GPU and 6GB of memory, and running Android 11.

In the Geekbench test results, this tablet’s best score is 1008 points for single-core and 3334 points for multi-core, which is quite satisfactory.

Judging by the previous information, the Mi Pad 5 series has three models, namely the Snapdragon 860 variant (supporting 33W fast charging) and two Snapdragon 870 variants (67W fast charging). The top model supports 5G. All three models use 2K 120Hz LCD screens and are expected to use 8 speakers to support Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos.
