Since Microsoft ended mainstream support in 2020, many people have been wondering when the Google Chrome browser will drop support for Windows 7.
Now according to Google, Chrome 110, which will be released next year, will no longer support Windows 7, and users will need to use updated Windows 11, Windows 10, and other systems.

Google says that after the release of Chrome 110, which is currently scheduled to reach stable on February 7, 2023, Google Chrome will no longer support Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
This is in line with Microsoft’s approach to ending extended support for Windows 7 ESU and Windows 8.1 on January 10, 2023. Since then, users will need to be running at least Windows 10 to maintain access to new versions of Chrome.
Users of the old platform will be able to continue to install and run earlier versions of the Chrome browser, but they will not be able to install the latest Chrome browser and will miss out on the latest key security and usability enhancements.
