Huawei’s customized HarmonyOS software might be already adapted by third party OEM

HarmonyOS 2.0 was unveiled as Huawei’s self-developed operating system and is completely open-source. With the new version of HM OS, the other third-party phone makers can also be a part of this OS. A new leak suggests that HarmonyOS is already used by any third-party OEM.

Meanwhile, it seems that the other OEMs have already started to adopt the HarmonyOS. According to the latest info, a tipster has shared screenshots of some devices that are alleged to be of a different brand and is ready to install the HarmonyOS 2.0.

As seen in the below screenshot, the software version number has been upgraded from version to that of HarmonyOS 2.0, version This makes it clear that the smartphone will be using HarmonyOS in the future.

HarmonyOS third party oem

While we can also assume this device to be the recently launched Miamang 10SE (most probably). While we are not fully aware of it, as it’s launched by China Telecom and left Huawei branding.

While we currently have no clue about this. It’s just that the Miamang 10SE runs on the EMUI software system and it’s possible to get the new HarmonyOS and might continue to run this new software.

While for the other third-party OEM thing, we still have no idea of what the company thinks about this. We still wait for it to be officially confirmed once and let you know then.

HarmonyOS 2 Features:

Further, it includes features such as a new home screen, service widgets, upgraded notification center, smart folder, smart share, and much more. It even has new collaborated security for better and improved privacy. Moreover, the HarmonyOS will also be available for other third-party OEM.

However, Huawei is currently making the HarmonyOS available in China only. While the users worldwide are still waiting for their turn to test this software. The Chinese tech giant is yet to make an official announcement over this.
