Can’t use GMS anymore, no problem! Huawei will bring a new edition of older P30 Pro again and again

Huawei recently launched its P40 series without GMS in China and already facing difficulties selling them. That’s true, who else wants to use a $1000 phone without Google apps such as, YouTube, Gmail.

Huawei Germany has revealed a new edition of its older P30 Pro in the pipeline. According to Huawei Germany (via Huawei Central), Huawei will introduce Huawei P30 Pro NEW EDITION starting May 15 to June 4, 2020. This new device will come under a promo offer.

Here’s the list of eligible Huawei and Honor devices that will get EMUI 11 and Magic UI 4.0

Just like Huawei P30 lite New Edition, the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition will come with Google Mobile Services (GMS). However, there is no information revealed by the company on Huawei P30 Pro New Edition or what new it’ll come with. In addition, there’s no official announcement made at the moment.

Huawei P30 Pro New Edition

But why launch a new edition of a 2019’s flagship phone?

Huawei can’t launch a new phone with Google services at least for now. It is a clever way for the Chinese company to launch a new phone with Google’s latest Android OS because the latest edition of Huawei P30 Pro comes with pre-installed EMUI 10 based on Android 10. The P30 Pro recently started testing the latest EMUI 10.1.

Huawei traveled the same road last year. At IFA 2019, Huawei made debut two new colors design of the Huawei P30 Pro in Mystic Blue and Misty Lavender.

The original Huawei P30 Pro launched in early 2019, Huawei P30 series comes with Kirin 980 chipset, Leica quad-camera system, curved display, and more. The device is the last Huawei flagship launched with GMS.
