MediaTek today released the Dimensity 900, the latest product of the Dimensity series of 5G SoCs. Dimensity 900 is manufactured based on 6nm advanced technology, equipped with a hardware-level 4K HDR video recording engine, supports 108 million pixel camera, 5G dual full Netcom and Wi-Fi 6 connection, flagship storage specifications, and 120Hz FHD + Ultra HD resolution display.

Dimensity 900 uses an eight-core CPU architecture design, including 2 Arm Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and 6 Arm Cortex-A55 high-efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz, equipped with Arm Mali-G68 MC4 GPU and high energy efficiency AI processor MediaTek third-generation APU. Dimensity 900 supports flagship LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage and can adapt to 120Hz screen refresh rate.

Dimensity 900 integrates a 5G modem and Wi-Fi 6. It supports 5G Sub-6GHz full frequency band and 5G dual-carrier aggregation technology, which can achieve up to 120MHz spectrum bandwidth, and supports SA/NSA networking, 5G dual card dual standby, dual full Netcom, and dual card VoNR services, combined with MediaTek 5G UltraSave Electrical technology can further reduce the power consumption of 5G communication and extend the battery life of the terminal.
