Talking of tweaks, the Google Maps app is now getting some new addition and improvements in its user interface that makes it look more intriguing including the new pill-shaped search bar.

By looking at the new changes you’ll find the new pill shape wide search bar consisting of the Google Maps pin icon placed on the left side, alongside the search field, voice search, and the user profile icon on the very right.
Compared to the previous shaped rectangular shape search bar, Google has added the Google Maps icon on the left, which wasn’t there before, and made the UI elements a bit bigger. Moreover, there are some small changes made in its search section.
These latest UI updates in Google Maps has started to rollout for both beta and stable version 10.49.3. You can also download this latest version from APKmirror or wait until it comes to your phone.
