OnePlus appoints former manager of Huawei and Honor as company’s Vice president

OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau have officially announced that former Huawei and 360 Mobile executive Li Kaixin will join OnePlus.

On his Weibo page, Pete Lau stated that Li Kaixin successfully led Huawei in China and helped the brand sell tens of millions of devices. Pete Lau described the company’s new vice president as a full-fledged “industry veteran,” especially in terms of smartphone sales.

Pete Lau said that Li Kaixin will allow him to focus more on creating new products, as he is confident that he can entrust the sale of smartphones to this person.

Previously, Li Kaixin was Vice President of Sales for Huawei and Honor, and President of 360 Mobile. It is reported that he has been with the company since March this year.
