Oppo already in talks with component suppliers for its first tablet

In November last year, it is reported that OPPO is planning to launch its first tablets and laptops in 2021. Recently, new information has been received about the company’s plan for its upcoming tablet lineup.

According to the latest information, OPPO is already negotiating with suppliers (we assume component suppliers) for its first tablet. No names are mentioned, so we don’t know who OPPO’s partners are, but we hope that most of them will be local suppliers.

There is still no information about the first tablet of Oppo. The manufacturer will still compete with Apple, Samsung, Lenovo, Huawei, Honor, and other brands in the tablet business. A few years ago, the tablet market suffered a decline, but due to the pandemic, schools were forced to close and students could conduct virtual studies, thus increasing sales in 2020. This is why Oppo believes that it should also launch tablets.

Moreover, it is also expected that OPPO’s first tablet to run Android out of the box and could be launched in China first before entering other markets. The report suggests that Xiaomi plans to launch a new model of its Mi Pad tablet product line this year.

Other than this, Oppo recently launched the most awaited flagship smartphone series Oppo Find X3 which includes Find X3 Pro, Find X3 Neo, and X3 Lite. The phones come with a 6.7-inch 10-bit curved display, 4500mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC charge, quad-camera setup, 5G connectivity, and more.

The smartphones feature a very unique design language and have also received DisplayMate’s A+ rating. In order to achieve 10-bit color in photos and videos, Oppo includes a 10-bit full-path color engine, which the company claims are the industry’s first in the Android field.
