Samsung has officially unveiled that its Fun Mode has been used over 2.5 Billion times since its launch last year. Samsung Fun Mode is a famous camera feature that introduces Snapchat lenses for the stock camera application in select Galaxy A series smartphones.

Samsung and Snapchat together created the Fun mode to bring playful and quirky filters to create fun and unique content directly to the stock camera application on the Galaxy A series phones.

Samsung said it is regularly innovating to assign users to do more of what they love. That’s why it continues to grow partnerships with Snapchat to bring customers further improvements and better camera experiences.

In 2021, Samsung and Snap launched region-specific AR Lenses in India, and since then it has been expanded to other countries including Germany, Indonesia, Brazil, the Philippines, and Mexico.

The company has also expanded this feature to select Galaxy F and Galaxy M series devices. On the other flip, Samsung has also brought its camera capabilities to the Snapchat app on some Galaxy S, Note, and Z series devices.

Ben Schwerin, SVP of Content and Partnerships at Snap said, “Lenses are the way over 250 million Snapchatters engage with augmented reality every day, and we’re thrilled that these experiences delight and resonate with Samsung Galaxy’s community. Integrating the Camera Kit into Samsung Galaxy’s proprietary camera is an opportunity to collaborate on compelling, local AR experiences and bring them to Galaxy users around the world.”
