Samsung Galaxy A04 launched with 6.5-inch display, 50MP camera, 5000mAh battery

After a period of leaks and rumors Samsung has now officially launched the new Galaxy A04 smartphone. This entry-level smartphone comes 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display, a 50MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The device is available in four color options, such as black, white, green, and copper. However, Samsung is yet to announce the pricing and availability details of the new budget smartphone.

The Galaxy A04 measures 164.4 x 76.3 x 9.1mm and weighs around 192 grams. It comes with a 6.5-inch LCD panel with an Infinity-V notch that supports HD+ resolution. Samsung Galaxy A04

The company also didn’t name the processor, it has only revealed Octa-Core SoC. This processor is paired with 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, or 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. This can be further expanded to 1TB via SD card.

On the side of the camera, the device sports a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

The device further equips a 5000mAh battery and runs Android 12-based One UI Core 4.1 OS out of the box. Like other budget Galaxy phones, it could also get 2 major Android upgrades and 4 years of security patches.

Other than these, the Galaxy A04 supports an LTE network and features a 3.5mm audio jack, Dual SIM slots, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4+5GHz), and GPS + GLONASS. It also has Accelerometer, Light Sensor, and Proximity Sensor but there is no fingerprint scanner.
