Samsung hasn’t confirmed the status of the One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 series, but the official community manager has now again confirmed that the company is still trying to get the One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy Note 9, but didn’t say any words about the Galaxy S9 series.

Samsung One UI 2.1: The biggest new features, changes, how to

Samsung said, One UI 2.1 has many Galaxy S20 camera features, which may affect the performance of the Galaxy Note 9. That’s why the company is testing slowly. However, the company may take some time to release a stable update.

Samsung community manager said:

The One UI 2.1 update is a new application including the camera applied to the latest products such as the S20, and is not applied because it is judged that it is difficult to guarantee optimal performance in the Note 9 situation.

However, we are doing our best to listen to customers’ voices and make better products, and we are currently checking and applying the functions that can be added with OneUI2.1.

Please note that the response is late due to a careful review process to provide a positive response.

We will do our best to prepare and provide stable software.
