Earlier, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau shared the upcoming OnePlus foldable smartphone on his Twitter handle. Pete Love also shared two pictures of the OnePlus Fold hinge. These images show the future of foldable smartphones from OnePlus that will be launched soon.
OnePlus Fold Under-Display Camera
This shows that the OnePlus is ready to gift its first foldable phone to its users in the coming months or next year. But what about its software and hardware feature? Well, we are expecting a less visible Under Display Camera (UDC) with a new scatter-type sub-pixel arrangement.
However, we don’t know what exactly the company is thinking about the OnePlus Fold, it may be under development. But we can expect that if OnePlus wants to make a feature then surely the company will add advanced hardware and software features to the OnePlus Fold.

As we know, a large screen allows us to work with many applications. However, Android 12L is a relatively new version and the apps should work better on this type of phone and offer better multitasking features like split screen, multi-window, floating apps, slide bar, etc.
Better Crease
All folding devices have a flexible screen, but the hinge often folds up. It ruins the phone experience for many people. Oppo showed that it may be smaller, but the displays from Motorola and Samsung had relatively large folds. It is expected that it will not appear on the foldable phone of OnePlus.
Speculations suggest that the company’s first foldable smartphone could be similar to the Oppo Find N. Considering that many OnePlus smartphones have been rebranded as Oppo smartphones, there may be some truth to this.

It remains to be seen whether OnePlus will launch a different style of the foldable device in 2023. The design of the Oppo Find N itself seems to be inspired by the Galaxy Z Fold. Unfortunately, don’t expect OnePlus to release every foldable smartphone in the global market. It could follow the Oppo Find N which was launched exclusively in China.
