Microsoft recently replied to users in the feedback center that it has heard users’ suggestions and learned that many users need to switch multiple accounts frequently at work. The official said, “We are working hard to implement this function, but this operation is complicated and the function will not be launched soon.”
Furthermore, Microsoft officially revealed that Teams multi-account support is expected to start testing in the first half of 2022 and will be officially launched in the second half of the year. Microsoft Teams needs to use another account, users need to manually log out of the current account and log in to another account.
This operation is very cumbersome, especially when two-step verification is enabled for login. In addition, Microsoft also promised to improve the architecture of the Teams desktop to provide better performance and more convenient features.
