ColorOS 11 Tips: How to activate ‘Battery Guard’ feature

To keep up with the latest version of Android, Oppo surprised everyone by jumping directly to Android 11 based ColorOS 11 from Android 10 based ColorOS 7. In addition to smart UI customization options, the Chinese smartphone maker provides stock Android features.

One of the most unique features that ColorOS 11 offers is the Battery Guard. Back in 2016, Sony introduced this feature as Qnovo Battery Care. With ColorOS 11 you don’t need to worry about battery damaging while overnight charging, you can sleep well knowing that your phone battery will stay safe.

Besides, ColorOS 11 extends more features focused on battery performance. The Super Power Saving Mode allows users to select six apps to run while the device is on a low battery.

Other than this, ColorOS 11 also offers a low battery message feature exclusively in India. This feature allows users to send messages when the battery drops 15%. Users can send messages with the phone’s location to pre-selected contacts as soon as the phone’s battery drops below the threshold limit.

HOW DOES BATTERY GUARD WORKS:

When you put your phone at night charging, this feature will make your smartphone to charge only 80%. It restarts charging according to your expected wake-up time so that you can start your day with a 100% battery.
