As per the feedback of users, Huawei has released a new HarmonyOS 2 update for the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6-inch tablet. It can be identified with the new HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.130 upgraded from version 2.0.0.125.
The new beta build optimizes the service center, display, sound, effects and brings a better user experience. These improvements are currently rolling out for the users in China and will soon expand internationally in the coming days.
Along with these improvements, the firmware also carries May 2021 security patch for improved system security. Other than the aforementioned changes, the changelog does not mention any other new add ons to the device.

This update is rolling out in batches, so you must have to wait for a while or even days to get it via OTA. Also, try to maintain enough battery and storage on your device, and lastly, do take back up of your data (believe me, you are gonna thank us later for this).
The May 2021 security patch fixes different levels of exploits and issues including 3 critical, 10 high ends, and 4 medium levels of CVEs. Additionally, it also resolves 13 hidden privacy-related issues found in the previous updates.

How to update?
Via Settings:
You can update your device via Settings > System & updates > Software updates > Check for updates and lastly (If the update appears) then click on Download and install. After installation restarts the device to optimize the applications.
Via Support app:
This is an alternate method to download the update on Huawei devices through Support app. For that go to Service tab > Update > Download and install > and then finally Install.
