OnePlus is releasing a new update for OnePlus 8T smartphones in India, which installs the latest January 2024 security update and improves the overall stability of the camera. After installing the latest version, users of OnePlus 8T devices will enjoy more smoother and appropriate photography experience.
In addition to the stability of the camera, this all-new OxygneOS update will also boost overall performance and improve the security of your OnePlus 8T device. The firmware further extends the battery life in some scenarios and fixes an issue where the fingerprint icon might remain on the screen even when the device is unlocked.
It will also remove the background stream feature in the Smart Sidebar. Consequently, the users of the OnePlus 8T will be able to determine the latest update through the OxygenOS version KB2001_14.0.0.300(EX01) and can install the patch manually through the Settings > Software Update section of your handy gadget.
