Samsung’s June 2021 security update rollout started with Galaxy S21 series

As the month of May has come to end, Samsung has started preparing to release the June 2021 security update for the eligible Galaxy devices. Now a new update that carries the June security patch is has started to roll out.

According to the latest information (Via – SammyFans), the Galaxy S21 series has begun a new software update in South Korea. The update log for this update clearly indicates that this OTA contains the June 2021 security patch. The package size of this update exceeds 400MB, so it is recommended that you download it via an unlimited connection or Wi-Fi.

The back-to-back iconic software version shows how stock Android (Google) is still busy developing new software for Pixel smartphones, and Samsung is significantly improving its software development arena. It is worth mentioning that the company has not detailed the June patch program, but it is expected to be released in the first week of next month.

Identified by the release number: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra’s G991NKSU3AUE8, G996NKSU3AUE8, and G998NKSU3AUE8. The latest firmware was initially found in South Korea, but it is expected to be rolled out to other countries and regions in the next few days.

  • Scroll down to Software updates
  • Then click on Download and install
