Samsung rolling out May 2021 security update for Galaxy S21 in China

Samsung already started releasing the May 2021 security update for its latest Galaxy S21 series smartphones in certain countries, including India and Germany. Now, the company is beginning to expand this new security patch to more regions, and the Chinese S21 variant is the latest version of this version released first.

Identified by the release number: Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra’s G9910ZCU2AUDA, G9960ZCU2AUDA, and G9980ZCU2AUDA, the May 2021 security update is being rolled out in the Chinese market in phases. This latest security update provides fixes for different CVEs to improve device security.

In addition, it has enhanced camera performance and fast sharing functions to provide a better overall user experience. However, this FOTA weighs more than 1GB, so it is recommended that you download it via Wi-Fi or a non-metered connection.
