Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is getting the blood oxygen monitoring and more with the first software update

Samsung just launched the Galaxy Watch 3 at the Galaxy Unpacked event, and the new smartwatch is already receiving a new software update. The software version of this update is R840XXU1BTG6 for the Galaxy Watch 3. The size of this update is 80MB.

As per the information, the latest update brings the Blood Oxygen monitoring feature, Advanced Running Analysis, VO2max, and Sleep score.

With Blood Oxygen monitoring, you can now check how effectively your respiratory system transfers oxygen to the bloodstream. This feature won’t be available in the following countries: Algeria, Angola, Canada, France, Iran, Japan, Libya, South Africa, and Thailand.

It also adds the Advanced Running Analysis: Giving you the insights you need your running form. With the VO2max, you can check the maximum amount of oxygen you utilize during exercise to improve your endurance. The Sleep score is a new way to understand your sleep patterns.
