Samsung expanding the offerings of Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for more users of Galaxy Z Fold 2. Notably, the update has already been rolled out in some markets including India. Now the major software is making its way to the US audience.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 users will be able to identify the significant Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update, through the One UI build version F916USQU2IVK5. Additionally, it also carries the November 2022 security patch, for improved security and stability.
Moving on, the One UI 5.0 brings various new features and functionalities for your Galaxy Z Fold 2. Users will enjoy the new multitasking gestures like a two-finger swipe-up for split screen and a swipe down from the right corner to launch an app in the pop-up view.
Furthermore, it also offers you the ability to disable the RAM Plus feature, Watermark your photos and videos, use different languages for each app, only allow notifications that you find useful, extract text from image, enjoy more pairs of AR emojis, and much more.

Now coming to availability, the Android 13 update is currently rolling out for carrier-locked models of Galaxy Z Fold 2 at Sprint and T-Mobile’s networks in the US. Nonetheless, it will be available for the remaining owners in the coming days or week.
To download the update manually on your foldable smartphone, head over to Settings, then scroll down and go to the last option. Here tap on the Software update menu and hit the Downlaod & Install button, now follow the onscreen instructions.
