Xiaomi takes care of its devices and smart gadgets. The Chinese tech maker keeps on renovating its old phones so that it can offer the ultimate user experience to its fans. However, some of the Xiaomi devices don’t fit accurately with the new MIUI updates. As a result of which, the company has to push such gadgets in the EOS (End Of Support) list.
In the latest edition, the manufacturer has marked the end of some old devices. In simple words, these Xiaomi devices will not receive any new MIUI updates or security patches in the time ahead. There could be some bug fixes or optimization patches that the company will deliver to these gadgets. But there will be a barricade on the regular and major software updates.

The publication of the EOS list ensures to aware users of which devices will not get security updates anymore. Though Xiaomi phones are quite secure and supportive in the time being. So far, the POCO X2 model was under internal testing for the MIUI 13 software update. The tech giant was trying to implement the major iteration on the device since April this year. But due to instability and known bugs, the company didn’t proceed further. Alternatively, the POCO X2 will not get the high-end MIUI 13 upgrade.
Redmi K60 launched in China!
While the company has ended the lifespan of its 5 devices, it has also brought a new gadget to the consumer platform. Yes! Redmi K60 has finally launched in China. The phone powers the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. It also pre-installs the Android 13-based MIUI 14 operating system.
