OnePlus 8T users facing charging issues after a recent software update

OnePlus 8T is the latest flagship phone from OnePlus that offers a bunch of new and exciting features such as the powerful Snapdragon 865 processor, a fluid AMOLED display, 48MP quad rear camera setup, and much more.

Even with the top specs, the users are facing issues with this smartphone. Recently, a user has reported a new problem related to charging after updating to the latest version. In detail, the phone was previously able to charge from 20-100% in just 30 minutes while after the update it takes almost an hour to go from 50-100%.

Well, this seems a very common issue on OnePlus phones but it bothers the users very much as the slow charging is the only thing that no one expects from a flagship phone after spending a lot. In terms of charging, the device comes with a 65W fast charging along with a decent battery of 4500mAh.

This is the first device from the company which operates on the latest Android 11 based OxygenOS 11. This latest version features many new changes and improvements over the previous one and the major highlight is the AOD (Always on display) which now has a wide range of customizable options to choose from.

Coming to the solution, the user has tried a number of ways to get rid of the slow charging including changing the Settings, restarting the device, clearing the cache, and more. But this problem remains unfixed.

As of now, there are no words from the company regarding this issue and it seems to be a software-related bug that is irritating a limited number of users. A small patch of software updates can easily fix this. If you are also facing the same problem with your OnePlus 8T or any other model then let us know in the comment below.
