Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, ZenFone 8 key specs and renders surfaced ahead of launch

Asus’ event is scheduled to be held on May 12, when the ZenFone 8 series is expected to be launched. Before the incident, a new vulnerability revealed the specifications of ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip and the rendering of each device.

According to 91Mobiles, ZenFone 8 Flip will indeed retain its flip camera, which is a hallmark feature of ZenFone 7. The motorized camera module will have a triple camera setup, including a 64MP main sensor, 8MP telephoto lens, and 12MP macro lens. Obviously, the camera settings will support 8K video recording, but other details are not yet clear.

According to reports, ZenFone 8 Flip will be equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD + AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB internal memory. It is expected that the device will also include a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging, weighs 230 grams, and measures 165 x 77.3 x 9.5mm.

As for ZenFone 8, 91Mobiles stated that the device is the “mini” model in the series, and will be equipped with a 5.92-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 888 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It is expected that the device will also be equipped with a dual-camera system, the camera has a 64MP main sensor and 12MP macro lens, and supports 8K video recording.

In addition, the smaller device is said to have a 4000mAh battery, supports 30W fast charging, weighs 170 grams, and measures 148 x 68.5 x 9mm. It is said that the device also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, so there is no need to upgrade to wireless headphones.

According to the leaked renderings, ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip may be available in silver and dark gray when they are released on May 12. Speaking of which, ASUS’s event is right in front of us, and although almost everything has been exposed, we are still waiting for detailed information about the price and where the series will be available when the series is released.
