OnePlus 9 series gets new update with enhanced multitasking and gaming features

OnePlus is expected to release the new flagship phone, OnePlus 9 RT in October. It is assumed to be officially listed in limited markets such as India and China. The company has confirmed that it will not launch the OnePlus 9T or 9T Pro this year. Although, it looks like OnePlus will launch 9RT.

According to the information, a new OnePlus phone with model number MT2110 is recently spotted on the Geekbench website ahead of the launch. And this listing reveals many specifications, features, and other details of the OnePlus 9RT.

A per the Geekbench listing, the phone with the model number MT2110 comes in 12GB of RAM. It has a Qualcomm processor code-named Lahaina. The eight-core processor has a clock speed of 2.84GHz and is equipped with an Adreno 660 GPU. This means that this phone will be equipped with Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood.

The listing further shows that the device will boot with Android 11 out of the box. It will have a layer of Oxygen OS on top and is expected to have an integrated ColorOS code base. The phone scored 818 and 3246 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.

Moreover, the previous report indicates that this phone will be equipped with a throttled version of the Snapdragon 870 SoC for better thermal management. The device is rumored to be equipped with a 6.55-inch FHD+ E3 AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

It is said that the phone will feature a 50MP triple camera setup which includes a 16MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP tertiary sensor. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera.

In addition to this, the device will launch three storage options-8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. Under the hood, this phone will be equipped with a 4500 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. Although, the company has not yet announced the official release date of 9RT.
