Realme GT 5G First Sale: Sold more than 33,019 units

On March 4, 2021, Realme launched its first flagship smartphone of the year, Realme GT 5G in China. The phone comes with new features, a new camera setup, a big battery, Android 11 based on Realme UI 2.0, and more.

As per the company’s announcement, the smartphone went on sale for the first time yesterday at 12 am local time (local time). According to the sales record, the company sold approximately 33,019 smartphones in the first sale.

After several minutes of producing Realme GT 5G on multiple online retailer platforms in China, Realme confirmed that it achieved 100 million yuan in sales within 10 seconds.

Throughout the first sale, the price of the basic model was 2799 yuan ($430), while the price of the premium model was 3299 yuan ($507). It seems that the Chinese manufacturer may have sold 35,727 and 30,312 models in the first sale.

Specification of Realme GT 5G:

Talking about its key features, it offers a 6.43-inch S-AMOLED E4 display with a punch-hole design, Snapdragon 888 processor, 5G support, 64MP triple main camera, 16MP selfie camera, 4500 mAh battery, 65W fast charging, and more.

Moreover, there is a dedicated GT mode that offers leapfrog performance while gaming with enhanced image quality, 4D in-game vibrations, faster loading times, dynamic sound effects, and more.

Realme GT features a 3D tempered liquid cooling technology that maintains the phone’s temperature while gaming. The smartphone comes with three color options – Dawn (Vegan leatherback), Deep Sea Airship (blue), and Galacticos (blue).

Currently, the company has not given any information about the global launch of this product. But the company confirmed that it will soon release a new smartphone called Realme GT Neo.
