Samsung W22 5G foldable phone scheduled to launch today in China

Samsung is all set to launch a new foldable smartphone called Samsung W22 5G in the Chinese market. As the name suggests, this phone is the successor to the W21 5G launched last year.

Similar to the Samsung W21 5G of the redesigned Galaxy Fold 2 smartphone model, the upcoming Samsung W22 5G is also a unique color choice for the Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 in the Chinese market.

Before the official release, an online poster of the Samsung W22 5G was published, revealing the design of this phone. The body of this phone is black, but the hinge area and the logo on the back panel are gold.

The S Pen that comes with the phone is also available in black, with a gold ring on the top to match the design of the phone. This new smartphone will definitely be sold by China Telecom, but we expect China Mobile and China Unicom to sell all these devices.

The poster shows that the mobile phone will be open for pre-order from October 14th to October 21st, and the mobile phone will be purchased from October 22nd to November 7th. Those who purchase the phone will receive a gift. Redeem it within 15 days after activating the phone.

The smartphone will be equipped with a 7.6-inch main display and a 6.2-inch protective screen. The screen is expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass protection. For the first time, the device may adopt various future technologies in a folding screen smartphone, such as an under-screen camera and S Pen input support.

The device will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Galaxy Z Fold 3 is equipped with the latest One UI 3.1.1 on top of the Android 11 operating system. The phone is expected to be powered by a 4,400mAh 25W battery to support fast charging and wireless charging.
