OxygenOS 13.1 has started emerging as a prominent topic among users. In recent times, many OnePlus fans are discussing and looking forward to what new changes the upcoming operating system will bring to their devices. And to the list of newbies, we believe that OnePlus OxygenOS 13.1 should also add iOS 16-like lock screen features.
Yes, if you have used an iPhone or have a friend who carries iPhone with the latest iOS version, then you would have observed some dynamic customizations and interesting elements on the lock screen that makes the device unique. After a keen exploration, it seems like OnePlus should adopt a few of the iOS 16 lock screen features for OxygenOS 13.1.
Wallpaper Section – To begin with, Apple has implemented iOS 16 with various customization options. Eventually, you can edit, your device lock screen, attach one or many photos as the lock screen wallpaper, can customize and create a wallpaper of emoji for the lock screen, and can even set them in small or large grids or rings and spiral shapes.
Weather & Astronomy – This is another interesting addition. Ultimately, the Weather Lock Screen option lets you check the weather around you without entering the Weather app. Making it more advanced, the feature shows you live weather. For instance, when it is raining, you will see tiny droplets animation, while in cloudy weather, you will find clouds on the lock screen. The same goes for the Astronomy section.
Smart Widgets on Lock Screen – Many OnePlus smartphone users are looking to get the widget feature on the lock screen since OxygenOS 12. With OxygenOS 13, the users were expecting to grab this addition. However, there is no such element so far. The widget section allows you to add widgets to the lock screen. To your surprise, you can add four single block widgets, two larger block widgets, and more on the iPhone lock screen.
Live Activities – Now this is something OnePlus should really look at. The feature allows you to track some of the useful apps from the device lock screen itself without entering the home screen phase. For instance – food deliveries, Uber Ride, Sports Games, and more. No, it’s just not alerts or notifications, but lets you trace the actual timing and distance.
OxygenOS 13.1 – Will it carry any of these features?
Well, OxygenOS 13.1 seems a minor software upgrade with new enhancements and modifications. However, we still await to see such changes in OnePlus devices with the new operating system. Though OxygenOS 13 has a lot to offer when it comes to customizations. Yet users would like to see the above-mentioned features with the new update.
