The revealer believes that Intel’s 13th-generation Core Raptor Lake will also support DDR4 memory. This means that Raptor Lake will still maintain the LGA1700 interface, which may be compatible with the existing Z690 motherboards and the H670/B660/H610 motherboards to be released later.
Moreover, the evaluation of Intel’s 12th-generation Core K-series processors has been lifted. DDR5 memory has a higher latency than DDR4, and the improvement in-game performance is not ideal. Therefore, the 13th-generation Core retains support for DDR4. It is more friendly to game players.
