While Huawei smartphones have started to receive the January 2021 security patch, there are some phones that are still getting December 2020 security patch. As per the latest information (Via – Huawei Central), these security improvements are now rolling out for a bunch of Huawei phones including Huawei Nova 6, Nova 7 SE 5G, and Enjoy 10 users.
The security improvements only bring security to smartphones and there are no new features added to the devices. The security updates are important for any device as they protect them against external threats and any kind of viruses.
You can check the firmware version of all the smartphones getting the latest security right below:
- Huawei Nova 7 SE – EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.1.205
- Huawei Nova 6 – EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.168
- Huawei Enjoy 10 – EMUI 10.1 version 9.1.1.194

How to download:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device

- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
