Huawei Nova 7 getting new software update with system improvements

Huawei is releasing a new software update for Nova 7 5G users globally. This update mainly brings the security patch released in February 2021, which fixes different levels of exploits and issues for improved system security.

However, this smartphone initially unpacks with EMUI 10.1 and compatible with further upgrades. After the launch of EMUI 11, this device has also been part of the beta activity and received the stable version on home ground.

In addition, the company has also expanded EMUI 11 for Nova 7 5G in the global market and delivered a stable version of EMUI 11. However, the official launch is still in its early stages, so it may need to cover all devices in different regions.

How to update:

Through Setting:

  1. Open Settings in your device
  2. Click on system & updates
  3. Click on the software update
  4. Check for updates
  5. Click on the download button
  6. Install updates
  7. After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears on the screen
  8. Reboot the device

Through Support app:

  1. Open Support app on your device
  2. If not installed, download it from the Play store
  3. Open service tab
  4. Tap on update
  5. Check for updates
  6. Click on the download button
  7. Install updates
  8. After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears onscreen
