As the month of March is coming to an end, more and more Galaxy phones and tablets are getting updated to the March 2021 security patch. Meanwhile, we have also encountered that Samsung is already working on the April 2021 security update for the Galaxy S21 devices that will be rolled out in the coming week.
Coming to the flagship tablets from Samsung, the Galaxy S7 and S7+ were the first Galaxy devices to receive the latest Android 11 based One UI 3.1 update via OTA. The update came with a bunch of new features and optimizations in order to increase productivity.
Now the Galaxy S7 and S7+ are getting a new update that brings the March 2021 security patch for improved system security and device stability. As per Samsung’s policy, the new security patch comes with the fixes for 26 high-level CVEs and 4 critical levels of CVEs.

The latest update for the Galaxy Tab S7 5G and Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G can be identified via version number T875XXU2BUC6 and T976BXXS2BUC1 respectively.
Besides the security update, there are no added features and optimizations included in this latest update. Since it’s an initial rollout, so it may take some time to reach every device. While users can also check for this update manually with these update steps.

- Go to Settings
- Select Software updates option at the bottom
- Then click on Download and install
